This policy explains what data the Astana Amateur Hockey League (AAHL) website alhl.kz and the AAHL mobile app collect, why we use it and how you can delete it. Contact: info@alhl.kz.
1. Data we collect
- Account: username, email, password (stored only as an encrypted hash), full name, date of birth, league role (player, coach, referee, staff) and team.
- Profile: photo and parameters you enter in your profile (for example jersey number, stick hand, height, weight).
- Tournament data: roster entries, match reports, statistics, suspensions.
- Moments: photos and videos posted by players, likes and views.
- Notifications: the device push token and your chosen teams and notification settings.
- Technical data: session cookies to keep you signed in; an anonymous device identifier (stored as a hash) to count news views.
2. Data that stays on your phone
If you enable quick sign-in, your username and password are stored in the phone's secure storage (Android Keystore / iOS Keychain). Fingerprint and Face ID are checked by the phone's operating system — biometric data is never sent to us. The app saves photos and videos to your gallery only when you ask it to.
3. Why we use data
- to run the tournament: rosters, calendar, match reports, standings and statistics;
- to provide your personal account and sign-in;
- to send notifications about matches, goals, roster moves and suspensions;
- to show news and moments.
We do not sell data and do not use it for advertising.
4. Public data
Names, photos, teams and statistics of players, coaches and referees are visible to everyone on the website and in the app — they are an official part of the league competition.
5. Who we share data with
We only use trusted services needed to run the service:
- Expo, Google Firebase Cloud Messaging, Apple Push Notification service — to deliver push notifications;
- Google Gemini — to recognize documents when registering rosters (used only by league administrators and team captains);
- Yandex Disk and YouTube — to store and show match photos and videos.
We do not share data with other third parties unless required by law.
6. Storage and security
Data is transferred over HTTPS, passwords are stored only as hashes. Account data is kept for as long as the account exists.
7. Deleting your account
You can delete your account at any time: in the app (Personal account → Delete account), on the alhl.kz/account/delete page, or by writing to info@alhl.kz. The account, profile, notification settings, likes and views are deleted immediately. Tournament sports data (player card, match reports, statistics) is kept as the official league history; write to us to correct or hide it.
8. Children
The service is intended for adult league participants and fans and is not directed at children under 13.
9. Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be published on this page with the update date.
